  • Switching to Squarespace won’t automatically hurt your Google ranking, but it’s important to handle the transition carefully to avoid any SEO setbacks. When migrating from WordPress, Wix, or another CMS, factors like proper URL redirects (301s), maintaining metadata, preserving content structure, and setting up your sitemap correctly are key to protecting your search visibility. At Monarch Web Design Australia, we take care of these technical details to ensure a smooth transition—minimising any disruption and, in many cases, even improving your SEO with a cleaner, faster, mobile-friendly site. With the right setup, moving to Squarespace can be a smart step forward for both design and performance.
